So many times over the last few days, I have sat here, post opened - but no post coming forth.

It is not as if I have nothing to say - there has been so much going on that I should not be at a loss to write about it. But perhaps that is the thing - there has just been too much going on.

My Dad is doing well. He is recovering at home now and has started taking medication that he will need to continue with for the rest of his life. Today he went for blood tests to monitor how things are going. This medication is to thin his blood - it is too sticky at the moment; he is mobile and his speech, though weak, is no longer slurred and is coherent. We have so much to be thankful for.

Son is home now after 7 weeks in Australia. He asked if he could bring his departure date forward a bit which was fine. We have a family wedding on the 7th of July and he will now be here for that. Daughter is doing really well in School and has brought home an end of year report to be proud of…… she has been working hard and is seeing the results of this hard work. GCSE’s next year. How quickly the time is flying by.

Ed is working all hours….. I worry about the amount of time he spends working. But that is one of the down sides of working for yourself.(especially as we work from home).. it is always there. He can’t just close the office door and be away from it…. well, he could but he does not have an office so hence, no door….that is one of the goals for moving - an office! But I expect, even if we did have an office, he would continue to work on his laptop at the dining table or wherever. Well, he has a change of scene tomorrow as he is driving off to the races…… work not play I am afraid..

Well, when I started this, I was hoping for a poetic flow of beautiful prose.. instead it has turned into an update, news-type post - just what this blog was NOT supposed to be… oh well. Another time maybe!
