I think that a migraine that lasts one day is bad enough.
With me, they often last three days.
Recently they are dragging on for longer and I am now on my fifth day of nausea and intense pain.
I think that I am justified in feeling a little fed up with the whole thing.
Not so much Sunshine Sue today, sorry…

When I stopped by a day or so ago I guess there wasn’t time to leave a comment. My hope is that by this time that horrible migraine is gone. If only it could be the last one ever. I’ve found that Pilates exercise has really helped with the stress and tightness in my neck that would lead to headaches. Of course, just one more thing to add to your list. Always so much to do.

What kinds of medical tests have your doctors done? Any labs, any hormonal treatments? Have you had an MRI of your head or neck? As a nurse, I always am thinking of how you can get rid of these! Pain medicine seems to sap life, but it’s easier for doctors than to actually have to follow up.
Glad to hear this one is better!

Dear Nurse J,
You are so kind..:)
None at all. I have been telling them for 10 years that it is hormonal mainly - mid cycle and pre-menst and during menses… am just in process of changing doctors and am going to ask to be referred for testss. Will let you know.
(I am hypo-thyroid which does not help but is not the cause)
